I recently bought a combo of Rosewill Hard drive dock along with the Samsung HDD (HD 103SI). I have a computer with AMD X2 Dual Core processor and a Windows XP Service Pack 3 running on it. So when I connected it with my computer unfortunately hard drive dock was not recognized by the system. Any help would be appreciated because I want to use my new hard drive.

By following these steps I hope you will end up using your new hard drive.

  1. First of all right-click on Computer
  2. Select Manage
  3. Afterwards select Management
  4. There you will see your hard drive, right-click on it, then activate and format the drive partition.

Now your hard drive must appear as a normal drive whenever it is plugged in.
